The Kawasaki Versys is a 649 cc street motorcycle. see Motor characteristics optimized for medium speeds (3000-6000 rpm). However, even at low speeds (below 3000 rpm) the power delivery is very smooth, and even at speeds above 6000 rpm the power and torque curves do not have sharp drops. The combination of long-travel suspension and variable-rate springs is one aspect of Versys' active handling. The motorcycle's passenger seating position has been designed with natural seating in mind.
